Hail and well met! "Behind the Fantasy" focuses on one of the most important ingredients in the world of DragonRealms - the people. Here you will find pictures from VegasCon 99 and most of the SimuCon events to date, including the official memory sites for SimuCons 99, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 - because my wife (player of Aavarine) and I were hired to create them!

SimuCon 2005 - Official Memory Site - Our final year at the Sheraton Village (due to contract issues) was fun as ever, despite a lower turnout than the past few years (~300 people). We travelled to Wednesday night dinner by limo, a costume cocktail party with dueling pianos, another round of no-limit hold'em poker, Aemergin built us a shot luge carved from ice, and we had food, drinks, seminars, and games day in and day out!

SimuCon 2004 - Official Memory Site - Returning to the Sheraton Village for a second year, SimuCon 2004 was the longest to date (at 78 official hours!), and arguably the best! This year we had an 80's party, 50's party, Aemergin's room 114 (in place of Quavvy's Bar), our first ever no-limit poker tournament, dinner at Nino's, Curses, Munchkin, Settler's, radio galore, and so much more.

SimuCon 2003 - Official Memory Site - The perfect hotel, the perfect length, the perfect environment, the perfect schedule.... yep, Simutronics will have a hard time ever besting this convention. Come inside and see why!

SimuCon 2002 - Official Memory Site - The annual convention, this year at the airport Hilton. Check out what happened plus visit a special time capsule feature (labeled "the times") not found on the Simutronics version of the official site!

SimuCon '99 - Official Memory Site - Our first of two years at the King Henry VIII hotel. This con blew the others away! Revisit Duffy's Pub, the Kygar festival, the founding of Quavvy's Bar, the introduction of Hero's Journey, last night parties, and many other activities that have become mainstays of future SimuCons!

SimuCon '98 - SimuCon '98 was two days (the shortest ever!) of meeting and befriending all the players and GameMasters you always wanted to meet with a bit of food, entertainment, trivia, quests, seminars and only a few hours of sleep thrown in.
