This was my favourite event of the Con. . . the DragonRealms trivia game! [clockwise]Cindi and Dazalia discuss the answer to the question that GM Breeland (seated) has just asked. "Didja know that I was actually served alcohol? ;) The waitress we had that night was such a ditz. Poor Jkarus asked for some nuts, and it took her a full 60 minutes to bring them. And 4 or 5 reminders. Well, anyways. She'd been serving alcohol all night (we're convinced she was drinking all the mistakes. Lord knows there were enough. Ever expected a sour whisky and gotten rum? Ask Kellven;) and apparantly wasn't completely there upstairs. So I go ahead, and keeping with my nice lil sober style, order a virgin daquiri. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, there's the daquiri. But the receipt says "rum regular." The conversation went something like this:

Cindi: I think you put the wrong thing on my receipt
Waitress: Nope, that's what you've got
Cindi: No, I ordered a virgin drink
Waitress: Well, this one has a rum floater. But you can have it, no prob.
Cindi: No, I need a virgin drink. Don't drink alcohol
Waitress: Don't worry about it. You can have this.
Cindi: Uhm, I'm 14. I can't drink alcohol
Waitress: Right, this is alcohol. You can have it
Cindi: No no no. You don't understand. I'm underage. No alcohol.
Waitress: Ohhhh.. Well, I can take it back if you don't want it..
Binu: No, I'll drink it.
Waitress: Ok.

So Binu takes the drink, I order another virgin one, 15 minutes go by, nada. Head back to the bar, sure enough, there she is doing nothing. I gave up, and of course it came 15 minutes later. But she forgot to take the check. Oh well ;)"
