Welcome
to Kraelyst's Amazing Travel Scripts. These scripts
currently travel to and from every populated town and
clan on the Elanthian mainland and the islands of Ratha,
Aesry, and M'riss. Thank you to Xada VonKroft
for creating and submitting her script for Aesry.
Aesry
Script
This script was written
by Xada VonKroft and edited by Kraelyst the Hand. If
you find any bugs within the script, please send me
a report using the form on the Contact
Me page.
Instructions for Wizard front end: Option 1.Download
the aesry.cmd file and save to your Wizard
scripts folder (usually found at C:\programfiles\simu\wizard\drealms\scripts). Option 2. Cut and paste the text below into
a .cmd file. Please note this file is too large for
Notepad, so try using Wordpad instead.
Instructions for eScape or Stormfront: Click on Options --> Scripts --> Add/Create.
Type in a name for the script (I suggest "AESRY"), then
copy and paste the script below into the text box. Warning:
It does take a few seconds each time to start this script
in eScape, but it's worth it.
News and Notes:
Next Update:
- Changed the spot near the housing swimming area
to "go narrow ledge" instead of "go
ledge" because it was hanging up on Traders
with ledgers.
11-11-06:
- Fixed bug where if you specified your destination
as "halasaselhin" the script would freeze.
6-21-06:
- Changed all footpaths and footbridges to just
"go foot" because they seem to be changing
on me just as the words to describe various climbs
on Aesry seem to have always done.
12-31-05:
- Fixed another bug where every now and then a person
would climb a stair and then at the end of the stair
just stop moving.
8-9-05:
- Updated some code to make way for future customizable
destinations.
- New destinations! The Halasa Selhin dock and ALL
stat training locations: Wisdom, Reflex, Intelligence,
Strength, Stamina, Discipline, Agility, and Charisma.
- New starting location: outside the snow goblin
fissure
- Fixed some quirks with my script logic for locations
on the north side of town. You shouldn't notice
any difference, but it is possible I may have inserted
a bug
6-22-05:
- Fixed a bug where every now and then a person
would climb a stair and then at the end of the stair
just stop moving.
4-16-05:
- FINALLY fixed the problem where the script would
get ahead of itself on certain climbs. I strongly
suggest updating now!
- Future plans are to include the following destinations:
the Cleric's Guild, wisdom, reflex, intelligence,
stamina, discipline, agility, and charisma.
3-16-05:
- It is now possible to go to and start from the
stream in the residential area again.
- You now bow to Eluned's dolphins each time you
enter the city.
12-01-04:
- You now MUST pick a destination as you start the
script: for example - .aesry <destination>.
I got rid of the option to start the script and
THEN select a destination because words and numbers
from normal gameplay kept inadvertantly picking
the destination while it was waiting for the user
to input a destination.
- Added Pawn Shop as a destination.
- Removed stream in housing area as a starting location.
- Fixed in-town part of script so if you are on
the same tier as your destination you will not go
down to the bank first and then go to your destination.
- Removed the option of choosing a number as a destination.
- Removed the option of picking multiple destinations
(for complex reasons).
- Script no longer leaves tons of highlights in
the highlight strings of StormFront users.
- Script now tells if you are at an invalid starting
point.
- You can no longer start outside the fissure, you
must start at the fissure (it was a trade-off for
something else).
- Some match strings that previously used room names
to determine your starting point will now use parts
of a room description because some of the room names
are used many places in DR and the script wouldn't
be able to tell if you were in the right room or
one of the others with the same room name.
- Cleaned up the destination list and various instructions
- looks much nicer!
1-30-04:
- Script posted for public use. Enjoy!
